Landscape Photography

This workshop will look at how to compose more interesting landscape images, covering the basic rules of composition and camera settings.

Landscape photography is about creating interest! What makes an image new or different? Join us around Forty Hall to learn more about techniques for taking better landscape photographs. No specialist equipment required, just bring yourself and your camera or phone camera.

Workshop will have a maximum of eight participants to allow for individual attention. Participants should bring a spare, fully charged battery for their camera and wear comfortable shoes and appropriate outdoor clothing.

Workshop is suitable for all levels of photographer, both using cameras and mobile phones, and are aimed at improving technique and gaining more control over the camera.

This workshop will be led by Pat Simmons, a Member of the Royal Photographic Society, who has been involved in a number of RPS projects as well as having her work shown in a number of London Exhibitions. The three-hour workshop will consist of around two hours of practical photography and an informal opportunity to share and review images over tea or coffee afterwards."
