Dementia Friendly Walk

You are invited to come and celebrate World Alzheimer’s Day on Tuesday 21 September with a walk around the beautiful grounds of Forty Hall Estate. The walk will start either at 11am at Elsyng House care home, this will go up to Forty Hall and back. A shorter walk, starting at 11.30am will begin at Forty Hall car park and ending back at Elsyng House around noon. Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable footwear.

This will be a leisurely walk and people living with dementia and their family and friends will be especially welcome. You will be accompanied by walk leaders and then you are invited to Elsyng House where they will provide a light lunch in the bistro.

All participants will be required to show negative results of a lateral flow test taken on the 21st September before they can join the walk.

Organised by Enfield Dementia Action Alliance, who are working towards making Enfield Dementia Friendly in partnership with Elsyng House care home and Forty Hall Museum.

World Alzheimer's Day is an international campaign to raise awareness and highlight issues faced by people affected by dementia.
