Creative Nature Photography

Sunday 29th May 10am- 1pm

Learn more about how to get great close-ups! The spectacular, vibrant patterns and colours of flowers and insects, especially in early summer, provide wonderful photographic opportunities. Join us in the gardens of Forty Hall to learn more about how to capture stunning and close-up images of nature. No specialist equipment required, just bring yourself and your camera or phone camera although, if you have one, you might like to bring a macro lens or camera with a macro setting.

This workshop will be led by Pat Simmons, a Member of the Royal Photographic Society, who has been involved in a number of RPS projects as well as having her work shown in a number of London Exhibitions. The three-hour workshop will consist of around two hours of practical photography and an informal opportunity to share and review images over tea or coffee afterwards.

The workshop is suitable for all levels of photographer, both using cameras and mobile phones, and is aimed at improving technique and gaining more control over the camera.

This is a small workshop with a maximum of eight participants which allows the opportunity for individual attention. Participants should bring a spare, fully charged battery for their camera and wear comfortable shoes and appropriate outdoor clothing.
